Hi
I know that Translator from www.chickensys.com reads a number of different file formats and I'm sure that they could do the job.
Unfortunately they refuse to have anything to do with formats on floppies.
Although they state that they are in the process of deciffering the prophet 2000 format. But I doubt they'll ever implement it.
Best regards
Brian

Can't you get a floppy drive that will read the P2K discs and hook that to a PC and use software to interpret the different format?D----- Original Message -----From: acSent: Thursday, September 28, 2006 11:24 AMSubject: Re: [prophet2000] P2K floppy disc backup on pcAFAIK it's been long reported that there is no way of reading Prophet
discs from PC or Mac's.
Apparently the physical formating of the disks is different.
So it wouldn't even be possible to write software to do so.

Hi Wizards!
I'm looking for a way to backup/store my P2K floppy disc on my pc
harddrive.
I don't think that making backup copies on a second set of floppies
reliable enough, so I'm looking for some kind of software routine
for HD storage.
I'm aware of the SoundDesigner program for mac, but I've read that
the copy for download is faulty.
Has a pc-program been developed for the P2K just like the EMX
program for the Emax?
Best regards
Brian
