Sequential circuits samplers

Hi,
i just got a prophet 2k and am getting to grips with it...so far i like it.
i was given a bunch of disks for it and dont know if the drive is messed or the disks are.
the drive powers on but i get 'iF' readout a lot.
i tried replacing the drive with a fujitsu (had the switchaeble jumpers but didnt even get 
power on it.
so....is my current drive messed or are the disks? ive also tried to format disks and i get 'iF'
