Hi to Nicholas and Tim -
the "LH" readout means "Locked Head" and, according
to the WineCountry Sequential tech. staff is a terminal fault with the floppy
drive. (I know this because mine did it too) It is fairly
straightforward to change the floppy drive - the Prophet has a standard, if
ancient, PC floppy drive controller - I had a couple of old PC drives lying
around so I found one that fitted and after fiddling with the jumper setting it
worked fine. You may need to find a fairly old drive, if you don't have
one kicking around, since the power connections are slightly different on the
newer drives (or so I found) but you should be able to pick up a suitable
replacement fairly easily in any PC-junk-retailer, it just won't be the right
colour, in all likelihood. If you have any other questions on that topic
just drop me a line.
If the drive is working correctly you will find the
display changing to L, La, Lb or 'int'. when you turn the parameter wheel.
L loads the entire disk, La loads the first half of the sound bank, Lb loads the
second half of the sound bank and int loads the internal sounds
again.
I hope this is useful information!
BTW - Nicholas, I'm the person you refer
to who was interested in getting a copy of the keyboard mapping
scans! If you have time to post them up that would be great.

Thanks Nicholas...However my friend who gave me the P2000 said he will be
sending me the manual. I was just hoping to get some help from this grp in
the mean time.
Loading a disc seems like an elementary operation as I am sure all users do
load thier sounds!
anybody with suggs?
Tim
