WELL I AM ABOUT ONE OF TEN OF THE ONLY P2000 OWNERS STILL USING THEIR MACHINE AND THIS KEY TO NOTE PROBLEM IS PRESENT ALOT OF THE TIME FOR ME , ITS A BUILT IN SETTING FOR ONE OF THE 8?? KEYBOARD MODES , THERE IS A SPLIT , LAYER, UPPER LOWER ETC ETC , THEY ALL GET MIXED INTO A MAPPING AND THEN THROUGH THE PRESETS OF PROGRAM 1-12 ANYHOW IT CAN BE ALTERED WITH IN PERCORMANCE SETTINGS NOT TO ACT IN SUCH A BEHAVIOUR...... DID YOU BUY THE P2000 WITH THE ATARI EDITOR SYNTH WORK SOUND WORK... SO AS FOR DRIVES IF YOU HAVE THE P2000 MANUAL I THINK THERE IS A LIST OF COMPATIBLE DRIVES....AND JUMPER SETTINGS , BUT I CAN'T REMEBER... MAYBE YOU WANT TO DO DISK TRADE OF SOUNDS PROGRAMS ETC ETC...
