Sequential circuits samplers

Hi all,
I have a P2k that have haven't used in quite a while. I just added a 
Mac Classic, original Mac midi interface and a copy of Sound Designer. 
I'm planning on selling the lot but I have a couple of questions. 

Sound Designer launches and I'm able to transfer samples to and from 
the P2k but I don't know how to use it. If I click the speaker icon I 
get a sound barely audible in headphones. Any clues how to check it out?

I guess I should have asked this question before I went to all the 
trouble to get the Mac working but would anyone care to have the old 
computer and software as part of a system or would most people prefer 
to use something more modern along with the P2k?
