There are no controls on the P3000 itself. Everything is done on the remote. Without the remote, I don't know how you could do anything. I don't think it has any kind of ability to be driven via midi. The remote has its own software too, which you'd need to source from someone else with one. I've never seen schematics for the remote, though I used to have schematics for the P3000 unit itself. I am not sure about this one, but I think the remote can be disconnected/reconnected, so if you found another p3000 with a remote, you could use one remote to load up a disk, and then once it was ready you could pull the remote, plug it into the other one, and play it over midi. But I am pretty sure you would have to have the remote to get it to that state. corley brigman intel corp. corley.brigman@... -----Original Message----- From: prophet2000@yahoogroups.com [mailto:prophet2000@yahoogroups.com] On Behalf Of andreaskeffel Sent: Monday, February 09, 2009 1:47 PM To: prophet2000@yahoogroups.com Subject: [prophet2000] usability of p3000 without remote control Hello all, I´m new to the group and my english isn´t the best : Is it possible to use a prophet 3000 without the remote control ?
