Sequential circuits samplers

hallo followers of the one and only Prophet.

I recenlty started working with the prophet 3000
OMG what a dream machine.     seriously..I was lusting after the F series III but that feeling is all gone now ; )
this is 16 bit heaven. 

Is there someone out there willing to share the service manual ?

Hope to meet other P3000 users to share information and experiances.

To my knowledge you will have trouble finding the service manual in pdf. The original schematics from winecountrysequential I think, are mostly in A3 format so it makes them difficult to scan or photocopy.
Is there something wrong with your P3K?

Thx for your message...    one could maybe photograph the sheets and copy them in bmp or jpeg.
   
The prophet works 99% but after a week of drooling over the factory disks I started to make some samples of my own.

sampling works fine and the auto mapping function is amazing.
so far so good.   then I started to save my own sampled sounds to floppydisks and imidiatly after saving the sounds a crackling sound is introduced in the sample. (this happens 7 out of 10 times sometimes all works fine ?)

loading the saved sound gives the same crackle.,
the cliks even where introduced in factory sounds after clearing the memory and then loading factory sounds during the same session.

turning the unit off makes the crackle dissapear.        loading factory sounds works 100% but again sampling on the instrument introduces clicks/crackles in the sounds  as soon as I start to save the sound .

I tought maybe a floppy drive(cable) issue but on scsi hd I get the same results.

I ran diagnostics and only the first blocks of ram passes ok (ram/dma)
all other test passed ok.

could this be a problem in the memory chips like the previous owner suggested ?
