Hello, curious if this site has anyplace to download sounds that
members use, or if there are any good places to get them?

Thanx,

Rod N.

It's a hardware thing.
No software could acheive this on a PC or Mac.

P2000 excepts sysex doesn't it?
Why not a simple MIDI file transfer. Someone figured out how to do it on the
Mirage, but its tricky.

You can MIDI SDS the actual samples, but not patches.

yes....like all the filter settings, velocity scaling, ect

Now this makes me wonder...can any of the patch stuff be put under sysex
control using say a Cubase MIXER map?

That would be cool to put in some samples, then on your computer create the
patch configuration. Also recalling a library of patch configs you can apply
to any patch! Dreaming here...but wonder if it is possable. Guess we need a
sysex wizard to look at the sysex specs of the P2000 and see if it can be
done.

Wow Tim, that is quite a thought. I am not much of a computer wizard, but
have friends who might be able to help out. If I hear anything I will let you
know.

Hey Tim, if you have a sysex fader you can program it to control "faders" for the prophet.. maybe we could work on making an XOR editer for the virtual "knobs/sliders"??? I'm game to work on it, it might be very time consuming seeing as I've yet to try making an XOR profile to quote Tim Leary "why not??" =) Nicholas

You have an idea. DR T's KCS has a screen with a virtual mixer in which you
can assign any controller number ( probably most sequencers have it now
adays)I can see what each controller number does when hooked up to the
P2000.

An XOR profile however would mean working with EOR which is totally un-user
friendly!!But.." why not" :-)

High;

There used to be a version of Sound Designer that was specially
adapted for the P2000. Anyone have a copy and did that do keymaps?
