Sequential circuits samplers

Hi,

I may be getting a prophet 2000 without any disks where can i get an o/s and waht version 
do i need?
the guy selling it to me says he has one disk and it doesnt work but the preset sounds do.  
He says he didnt use it much so Im wondering if the drive is messed or the disk is messed.

the OS is held in ROM in the machine. you don't need a disk to boot
off. you can just turn it on and use it.
