8 outputs information

8 outputs information

2007-10-31 by plus_321

Hello,
Last night I managed to get my friend to agree to a trade for his
512k upgrade and 4.3b OS EPROM. Now I am trying to find information
for the 8 outputs upgrade. I would like to avoid paying $40 for some
jacks that I can easily buy for a few dollars each since I would have
to cut traces and drill the holes anyway.

Does anyone still have the assembly/upgrade papers from when they used
the official upgrade (so I know what is on the board)? In return for
you submitting this information to the group, then I could find a way
to submit scans of the information that I have for the 512k memory
upgrade/installation in the case that someone wants to try and build
their own in the future.

I have some Op amp chips lying around so I could go to radioshack and
make the board with breadboard, but I can't do this if I don't know
what is on there or how it goes on.

I may break down and buy the official upgrade, but I am trying to feel
it out first and see if I can use up some of the parts I have here.

Thanks.

Hi there, I actually have a Sequential 8 outputs board (PC2002 - 5
REV A) plus a Sequential PC2002 - 4 REV A board, it's the full kit
for adding the extra outs to a Prophet 2000/2002 sampler.
I got the boards with a P2002, which I use only with its stereo outs.
If you are interested in buying them off me, I'll make a good cheap
price for them. Email me on soundray@gmail.com.
cheers
