Editor or Controller for 2002 ??

Editor or Controller for 2002 ??

2007-11-13 by jg573

Hi fellow P2K(2) owners...

I was wondering if anyone knew of any software that can edit
parameters, sounds, maps or presets in the Prophet 2002?
Looking at the manual, looks like alot can be done via MIDI.

I have been transferring samples no problem using Awave (fmjsoft.com),
works great.
Now that I have a few disks worth of sounds to work with, I'd like to
edit the settings for Filter, resonance as well as envelopes. etc..

Also It would be cool if you could edit the filter & envelopes in
real-time with a hardware controller as well.
i.e. something with a few knobs & faders on it that send MIDI data.

Anyone know of any MIDI controllers that work well for this purpose?
Currently I trigger my P2k2 with a SCI Six-Trak.

Thanks!

This would interest me as well. Is there a soft editor maybe, like Sounddiver? I serched the internet with no success. I have a 2002, are you all 2002 users programming from the front panel? It's not particularly difficult but a visual editor on PC would make things much quicker I guess.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
