Ive been contemplating trying to find an old pc to run DOS for samplevision (or maybe get a mac for alchemy?) anyone have any experience with samplevision and the prophet 2002? is it worth the trouble? can you edit the sample and programs/presets and export them to the sampler? any info would be fantastic. Thanks!!

Hi I just wanted the same thing ...I use a early pc wich I fitted with the roland mpu-401/AT midi interface and run a copy of sample vision on it. This works great! I'ts a joy to see the fairlightesque graphics of the waveform display....make shure you get a monochrome p31 style monitor : ) cheers, David --- In prophet2000@yahoogroups.com, nobody cares <n_c630@...> wrote: > > > Ive been contemplating trying to find an old pc to run DOS for samplevision (or maybe get a mac for alchemy?) > > anyone have any experience with samplevision and the prophet 2002? is it worth the trouble? can you edit the sample and programs/presets and export them to the sampler?
