[prophet2000] Sample Vision or Alchemy

[prophet2000] Sample Vision or Alchemy

2009-01-28 by nobody cares

Ive been contemplating trying to find an old pc to run DOS for samplevision (or maybe get a mac for alchemy?)

anyone have any experience with samplevision and the prophet 2002? is it worth the trouble? can you edit the sample and programs/presets and export them to the sampler?

any info would be fantastic. Thanks!!

i have an old atari to do this with sound designer , but been always experiencing problems when addressing the higher 8 samples
spaces 1-8 is ok for file transfer via msds midi sample dump standard but the other half is always caused transfer trouble .
.no matter what i try ,
bank adress,
key addressing,
alloting more memory ,
clear sample ,
blank sample ,
making new sample
midi channel
maybe you will find the same difficulties in mac or pc msds
no real problem , just a work around , that really is unanticipated ,

Hi I just wanted the same thing ...I use a early pc wich I
fitted with the roland mpu-401/AT midi interface and run a copy of
sample vision on it.
This works great!
I'ts a joy to see the fairlightesque graphics of the waveform
display....make shure you get a monochrome p31 style monitor : )

cheers,
David
