Subject: [prophet_vs] Re: Bright blue 2 digit patch number display on VS
I've done these mods to my VS's. OLED replaced the LCD, blue dual 7 segment and blue LED's all over. I'm trying to post photos, but Yahoo is defeating me..... The OLED display board was smaller externally than the LCD, so some jigging was required. The Blue dual 7 segment display was incredibly bright and I had to use higher valued resistors to pull down the brightness. Similarly, the blue LED's I used to replace the red needed much higher valued resistors to pull the brightness down something less than retinal burn. :DMessage
