indeed, it's not like i'm going to make a hardware controller as a commercial product :-)
equivalent functionality to the AU/VST plugin would be straightforward with a dumb Arduino brick that just converted MIDI CC #n into VS parameter change #n. so for filter cutoff automation, you'd just have your DAW send MIDI CC 12, etc. it would work for the BCR2000 too.
so maybe i will just do that Arduino sketch and put it up. then all anyone needs to do is get an Arduino and MIDI shield and they're off to the races!

The BCR2000 is fairly ubiquitous and a custom overlay could be made to assist in identifying what controllers do what.... an iPad editor/controller might be interesting, but not as much fun as knobs.... or... an AU/VST plugin that easily allows realtime control of parameters via automation curves!
