I don’t have the files, but I do have a PVS Rack with v1.2 and an eprom programmer, so if nobody else has them, I can make a copy.

swap out the 10 for 11 and 12 for 1.1 and 1.2 respectively.

Many thanks Jason. That is a big help. I couldn't believe Wine Country wanted $45 shipped for them. They also refused to just send or let me download the BIN files. I haven't dealt with them before but they really seem to be into gouging us Sequential users and not willing to help out at all. Like $25 + shipping for the data slider which can be bought at Mouser for $3!

Many thanks. This is a big help. Does anybody know if there is a diagnostic or engineering mode on the VS? I just got mine and all I could find was the schematics. No service notes. Now that I have the latest firmware, I want to start troubleshooting.

I agree. Thanks for posting the files Jason, very kind of you indeed!

Are there any owners that have gone back to the earlier OS from 1.2?  Apart from the free running LFO is there any reason that going back is a sane choice?

It’s a shame there was not an upgrade that had a choice of synced or free running LFO.  It’s also a pity that one cannot scan through the patches using the data slider (as you can when linking a layered patch.

Is there any code magicians out there that would take this on and give us an OS version 1.3?

the LFO sync is a real head scratcher, no idea WTF that happened

if i had a year to sit down and do it, i might be up for doing a 1.4!

(apparently there was a 1.3 at one point, but wasn't reliable, and so didn't ship, as such. anyone who know the real story please correct me.)

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
