Thanks for your help. You are now a moderator for Prophet VS. You will be emailed when someone wants to become a new member of the group. Then you can approve or disapprove his/her request in the "Management" section of Prophet VS. Sometimes member requests go to my email junk folder by mistake. So occasionally check your junk folder.
I have only had one problem whle being the sole moderator. A spammer got in and generated 20 fake identities. It took a while to delete the spammer and his spawn. Unfortunately very many Yahoo Groups are eitther "Public" or unmoderated and are now over-run with crass and vulger spam making it improssible to use them as a source of information except for the files sections.
