Hi Shayne, I know that when you put c-cell batteries in the Bassline Line the presets are safe. The big problem is that C-cell batteries could produce an acid liquide who could burn the inside..... This is the reason why a mod is available to replace the c-cell by a lithium batterie : more safety...
