Subject: [vintagesynthrepair] Stuff and more stuff
Hello all,
I've been on this list for sometime now but until I've been pretty mute. I
must say I've truly learned quite a bit from this list. Anyway on to the
purpose of this e-mail. I have decided its about time for me to unload all
the spare parts and keyboards that need TLC that I've been hoarding. I have
various boards for the Korg Polysix, the board that holds the battery for
the memory needs repair. I also have all boards for the ARP Omni-2, the main
voicing board needs work. The person I bought the Omni-2 from replaced all
the capacitors, needless to say he didn't use desoldering wick and some of
the traces need repair. He also used the wrong capacitors, eletrolytic
instead of tantulum. I also have the keybed and power supply as well as a
whole Omni-2 I no longer use. The functional Omni-2 could use new caps as
its not 100% anymore. Also there is a Korg Poly Ensemble-S that needs some
work. All the voices play at once on the last note of each octave.
Cosmetically its in beautiful shape. Roland CR-8000, not all the buttons
work plus I have no use for it. I also have a few Yamaha DX7 parts stashed
away as well. I was going to just put all this stuff on e-Bay but most
people won't bid if its not 100%. If anyone is interested in anything please
e-mail me off list with a reasonable offer. Thanks you to everyone for your
time and sorry for the long drawn out e-mail.
James
