im no tech  but my poly6 had a battery leak on the circuit board 
causing nasty probs. maybe check that and replace it anyway...flawed 
design..also check for corroded or dirty key contacts no clues on ob 
if ya gonna sell ya poly 6 let me know. maybe i can make 1 working 
unit from 2 duds...
