step 1 is the powersupply....replace the main filter caps, and make 
sure you are getting +/-15v.

then, download the service manual (do a google search, or join the 
odyssey list on yahoogroups), and remove the flexible board 
(carefully), then use a scope to see what's working and what isn't.
