I'll give it another shot, but I'm pretty sure I tried
this yesterday, and got a flat-line on my oscilloscope
(it had performed just fine with the normal
arrangement). I'll let you know what happens.
Anyway, in case anybody's curious, I'm basically
trying to create a new oscillator for my Arp Omni
because the original oscillator circuit seems to be
fried and I'd rather build something out of easily
procured parts than move heaven and earth to replace
the originals. So far I've had luck producing a
square wave when only the power supply of the Arp is
hooked to my oscillator, but the moment I try to feed
the output of the oscillator into the divider
circuits, it shorts out or something and stops
producing a wave. I can only assume this is because
it's expecting a 0 to -15 V wave (per the service
manual) and is instead getting its positively charged
counterpart...
