I've never dealt with Route66 either but I've heard of other experiences such as SynthX's. I am a member of the Ensoniq Mirage group: http://www.webcom.com/jawknee/Mirage/ http://launch.groups.yahoo.com/group/Mirage-Net/ Search the post threads at the Yahoo group and you'll see some of the issues with Route66. BTW....There used to be a site about DSS/Mirage disk drives and compatibility between the two, but I haven't been able to find it recently. I'll look around in my old files to see if I kept any info on this...(might take a while)....seems like I did. Also the fairly common TEAC FD235HF3240 will work with a Mirage..(kinda). Maybe (?) this is true with a DSS (?). I always wanted a DSS and an MS20....anyway.....I'm still looking for a good replacement Panasonic JU324/364 drive for one of Mirages....just in case you have a box of them laying around. vid On Saturday, February 10, 2007, at 02:10 AM, SynthX SynthX wrote: > Route 66 is not to be trusted, lost money to them for a Korg 01/W > drive. > never got the drive, never got my money back.
