I don't know what topic you could be talking about, but generally, solder with silver in it is better than standard Sn60/Pb40 one. Kester makes pretty good solder you can find at Mouser : http://www.mouser.com/catalog/629/1797.pdf I have some "44" 63/37 solder, it's much cheaper than solder with Ag in it, and works pretty well. You don't need to clean the flux, non-corrosive/non-conductive flux = not necessary to clean. (Even if not specified in the catalog like in type-285's description) $40 is probably justifiable for 1 pound of Sn/Pb/Ag solder, it lasts for a veeery long time anyways.
