Hi, thanks for your reply. If you read the Datasheet of lm709 at http://www.national.com/ds/LM/LM709.pdf you will see that the lm 709 cn/14 and lm 709 cn/8 have same specifications and data and that, if you mount the 8 pin version starting from the 3rd line of the of the 14 pin socket (pin 1/8 --> pin 3/14, 2/8 -->4/14, ....pin 8/8 --> pin 12/14) there is a correspondence pin to pin. Can you confirm it ? thanks ----- Original Message ----- From: "jm leman" <leman@...> To: <vintagesynthrepair@yahoogroups.com>; "jm leman" <leman@...> Cc: <vintagesynthrepair@yahoogroups.com>; "vscrivan" <vscrivan@...> Sent: Thursday, April 26, 2007 4:46 PM Subject: Re: [vintagesynthrepair] Solina string ensemble > Have a look at this link : > > http://www.selectronic.fr/upload/produit/pagecatalogue/3-33.pdf > > in the left column, the fifth item in "standard op". > these op amps are still findable in 14pins package. > > > > Selon jm leman <leman@...>: > >> As long as I know, 8pins and 14 pins op amp aren't pin to pin compliant! >> Have a look at any electronic comp. sellor's catalog, you'll find 14 pins >> op >> amp >> that can replace the 709 (even being more performant for noise and speed. >> Where are you living?
