I worked for a while for a dealer that was handling mostly Thomas organs, and did encounter a few of those while I was doing organ service. But that was a long time ago, probably around 1979-80 or thereabouts. Thomas was owned by Whirlpool around the time I stopped, and had discontinued manufacture but still maintained some tech support and parts availability for at least a year after that, maybe longer, something I can't complain about. :-) What sort of problems are you having with it? One thing that comes to mind for me is that a lot of those vintage organs have these black electrolytic caps all over the place with one red end -- if you find these in there _replace them ALL_! Often you can see where one has a problem because the red stuff on the end will actually have cracks in it. I don't have service data on any of this stuff any more, but will be happy to help out to the best of my recollections. -- Member of the toughest, meanest, deadliest, most unrelenting -- and ablest -- form of life in this section of space, a critter that can be killed but can't be tamed. --Robert A.
