Hi everyone,
I´m a new member here, discovering all there is to vintage synth
repair. I have been building and repairing for a while now, but mostly
for my own needs.
After the first Norwegian synth gathering, the pressure was on to start
repairing other people´s gear as well. So right now I have an OB-8, an
ARP Axxe, Korg PolySix and a Korg Delta on my bench, as well as two
Yamaha DMC 1000 digital mixers, and some of my own instruments and
modules that need some repair as well. Also a Roland VP-330 mk I that
needs calibration (too much carrier bleedthrough on the vocoder). I
have already repaired and calibrated moogs, ARP, Roland, Korg et al,
but there is a lot to learn in this business. I have bought parts from
the usual suspects in the US and Europe, and I have some supply of nice
parts, originally intended for my own projects (that are, of course,
way too many). Oh, and when I find the time, I record some music and
gig either solo or with my band WintherStormer. I am based in Norway.
Lot´s of good ol´ analogs around here, but way too few in good shape,
or qualified technicians to take care of these old goodies. Looking
forward to the conversations here.
