It is just out of calibration. There are a lot of input and output 
filters/envelope followers that need to be calibrated. Lots of 
trimmers!

Yes. Same with this. Strings went out. Turned out to be a 0.40$ op-amp 
that needed replacement. Took a while to find it, though.

I have the service manual, which explains it quite well. It will be a 
lot of work. I will let you know the results.
