To Ground or Not To Ground?

hello anyone,
       Should i ground my vintage synths.  i dont have a ground outlet
in my room and used my MOOG OPUS 3 for day before the filter section
went out.  i dont want to repair my vintage synths and have the chips
on them go out becasue they needed to be grounded.   anyone have any
similar experiances.
