You'll need a midi-CV converter or any other synth or module that could send a voltage. At this moment I don't remember exactly but I think that the pulse has to be negative.

no I haven't tried to fire with external gate - how will you do that ?

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
