I meant shorting the tip and the ring. The ring should be ground, and 
the tip should be something like the base of a pnp-transistor. I 
don't have the schematics at hand, so I can't check.

But it seems I was wrong. Sorry. I just tried on my CS-15, and it 
doesn't work. That's strange, because I know I've used a double pedal 
from a diathermy machine (sic!) to trigger the envelopes. But that 
was a long time ago...
