Vintage Synth Repair

I'm latching on to this thread - I've got a CS40M with the same 
symptoms - and not due to the initial level setting. The output is 
rather low, and noise turns unstable at some filter settings. It was 
salvaged from a poorly reputed tech who gave up on it - So far I've 
checked all pots and sliders, and replaced 80 % of the tantal- and 
electrolytic caps.
