Hi I've done a search of the Yamaha Service Manual website but the PF15 is not listed. The two nearest are the PF12 and the PF1500. Most of this type of Yamaha seem to come apart by removing 4 or 6 screws from the bottom panel, 2 or 3 from each end. The top cover then hinges up from the front. If you simply want to clean a key - that is the plastic bits - you need to remove each key from the key-frame assembly. The method varies from model to model, but tends to be a need to lift the back of the key and then sliding forward and lifting upward. If you have a problem with faulty key operation and want to clean the contacts this is a different ball game. You will need to remove the PCB underneath the keys, how you do this varies also from model to model. Without the service manual you may have a problem working out this is done unless you are familiar with all the various systems in use. Some can be done from underneath the key frame, others need you to remove all keys to gain access to the contacts. I have a copy of the owners manual but need to know how to open and clean under the keys, etc. The owners manual don't have this info. I see hinges on the back to somehow tilt up the top but I don't see what screws need to be removed to open and what exactly lifts up. Can someone explain how to open one up or know of a free PDF repair manual for this model. The PF-10 Electronic Piano may be the same. Fitting instructions for a PF-15 KENTON MIDI Kit with step by step fitting guide plus diagrams of where to connect what would also help me. Also what was the list price on this Electronic Piano when it was new? The PF-15 was Yamaha's flagship FM-synthesis electronic piano when new.
