I don't know Phil personally, his reputation proceeds him, though, as kind of 30 year ARP guru or master of some type. He's done truckloads of mods and repairs on the old ARP gear with very many satisfied customers. However, recently I have heard from LOTS and LOTS of people that have said he never returns their calls or emails. Maybe he's just too busy with his walk-in business that he doesn't need anymore from the outside. Reputations do that, you know. I did hear a while back that he was no longer going to be doing the patch-points mod for the Odysseys anymore---not enough time. Sometimes if you are as good as Phil supposedly is you choose to work only on gear owned by the big names in the music business. This may be the case with Phil. I'm debating whether to put a little blurb on the Odyssey page saying he never returns calls or emails anymore. He's got such a big reputation, though, it feels weird to just drop him from the page completely. He's the only one on there though, that never asked to be added to the list. All the rest did. His name was always just the most frequently mentioned in connection with ARP gear. But really, as good as his reputation may be with the gear, he's starting to establish another larger negative reputation with all the folks he never calls back. Too bad.

I called Phil in Bethlehem PA several times and never recieved a return call.
So I did the repair myself. So much for farting around.
Rob, do you know this tech ?
Or was it just my bad luck ?

Well I tried to contact Phil Cirocco in Bethelem PA.
He must be on the road a lot. Will keep trying.
Lets see what falls out of the trees.

Try one of the ARP techs I've got listed on the ARP Odyssey web page:

Hope this helps,
