Thanks for the pointers. The tech has already fixed my divider issues and a dead key that left the factory with no solder as well as a couple other little problems like no audio at all from the output. He's now investigating replacing the missing volume pedal with glide kick switch and I'm afraid I just authorized replacing the bushings which will be very expensive. I took it tomy local organ repair guy and the technology is very familiar to them. He played it for me over the phone this morning while admiring the animation and detail of all the chorusing and modulation.
Thanks,
Paul

I think I got this from that CEM3374 site. I'm posting an alternative link:
umich.edu/~damont/Freeman_String_SM 2.pdf
Have your tech check the stacked circuit boards for broken joints first. On mine, they were all sagging in the middle, and the joints had cracked causing all sort of problems. Actually... has anyone done anything to address this design problem on their machines? I've never seen such board sag.. it's like they are made of cardboard. I guess just adding some more standoffs in the middle of the boards would help.
Also - I don't think that all of the octaves are supposed to work for all of the voices. So... if you think that's a problem with the machine, it may not be. I'm not actually sure about this... but I think it's correct.
best,
DT
