See my posting above. I have verified that the issue is within the VCF submodule. I tried jumpering the input and output of the VCF with no result, but with the submodule completely removed and a jumper across, I get output.
I've recapped the VCF, but haven't found what is shorting the audio signal.

what revision vcf as theres a few different models
of the submodule
check the transistor pairs
