I've got a 1623 (S/N 0005) sequencer. Although I wouldn't say my clock is sending out "needle" pulses, they're far from being square waves. The positive pulse only lasts a fraction of the cycle. It's just meant to step the sequencer. Why would you want or expect it to be more than a pulse?
As messages to and from the group seem to take a long time to get posted, if you want me to check out anything you're seeing against my 1623, feel free to contact me directly: kevin@...

Thank you all for your help!
We will start working on the sequencer by taking the 1601 service manual for all the models up to 1613.
We have just looked at the clock output and it is sending out something that looks more like needles than square waves.
Has anyone ever remedied something like this before?
Thanks
