Tony, thank you for the reply. Yes, I have wiggled all the pin connectors and did achieve something when i moved the + - 15v socket onto board c. I now have a note when I depress the keys but it is the same note and very low level and nothing changes when I change settings. I will give the boards a spray with a good electronic spray and see if it achieves anything. I would love to get this going again.

I found a whiteface that I thought I was dead and I bought it for parts.
But it looks like it's a case of really really really really
bad switches and sliders. Have you tried wiggling everything?
