yes.

One of the main reasons that these are not so good is the display rate of 
the PC monitor....

yeah in some cases then it is worth it. especially audio range things. in 
those cases you can get software that uses your soundcard.
cant remember the names of the software I've seen that does this, but I 
think I've seen two of them.
