A program to accompany you

A program to accompany you

2003-07-06 by josmaas

Hi

This is a program to convert any keyboard into an arranger keyboard!
It uses Yamaha styles. It has lot's of gadgets like: including .wav
files in styles, conversion of MIDI files to styles, mix parts from
different styles into one, control tempo with the modulation wheel,
play chords with MIDI pedals.

You can even play live on your PC keyboard! It is at
http://www.1manband.nl and registration costs only $30.

Cheers

Jos

thinking this would clearly violate my "hardware only" policy.

thanks, but no thanks.

ps---got in touch with someone selling a used korg poly 61. i see there is
no MIDI (for syncing to other units.) and that is my only concern.
it's going for 300 bucks. is it worth it? any major possible future
problem areas that i should be worried about?

Hi Richard!

Concerning the Poly 61 you should have a look at the backup battery.
It's bound to leak and possibly destroy the PCB after approx. 15
years. BTW: The same goes for the PolySix.
I think it's worth 300 bucks as long as it is in reasonable condition.

Cheers,

Reinhard

I think the Poly61 don`t worth 300$, may be the polysix, but remember the
poly61 have DCOs, not analogue at al...

Regards,

Josue.
