Vintage Synth Repair

Hi to all rhodes players,
i have a Mark 2 73 suitcase and i know to minimise the bell sound to 
make the instrument sound funkier, more herbie like, you need to move 
the tines or something like that. Could someone with the knowhow lend 
me some tips on how to make it sound more mellow as it is the most 
mellow instrument ever made?

On each tone bar, there are two Phillip head screws. Just tighten or loosen
the top screw until you get the sound you like. Adjusting this screw will
just change the position of the tine in relation to the pickup and will
change the tone. You can also move the pickup closer or farther away from
the tine. Although this usually just affects the volume.
