DX7 II Battery Help Grey Matter E!

Hello, I have a DX7 IIFD and have replaced the internal battery but I still lose all settings and have to re-initialize everything everytime I turn it off (whether or not it is still plugged in). I have replaced the batteries in two other DX7's along with a regular DX7II and they worked fine. Maybe the DX7IIFD are different or if anyone knows any other problems. Oh yeah it has the Grey Matter E! board installed. Thanks!
