Vintage Synth Repair

Hi,

Not sure a Korg M1 quite rates as a vintage synth, but here goes. 
Upon power up it sometime paints across the display one 
character/cursor position at a time. It
will sometimes do this when I change patches as well.

Also, while playing there is sometimes a delay between a key
depression and when the note is sounded.

I checked the sequencer mode and turned on the metronome and noticed
that the clock is not consistent or at least the metronome click is
not on beat consistently. So something seems to be dying in
the clock/CPU?

Appreciate any feedback. Anyone else ever see these problems?
