Source for BBD chips?

Source for BBD chips?

2004-02-26 by mindoftwo

Anyone know of a _reasonably_ priced source for BBD (Bucket Brigade
Device) chips? Looking for MN3009, MN3209 or TCA350 in a DIP package
to repair a Crumar.

Thanks,
tom

Digikey sells MN3209 for 4.82. Look at the Panasonic at the bottom of
the page with the firemen cartoon:

Lies, all lies! That catalog page does look sexy, until you call
Digikey. The part has been obsoleted and they have been out of stock
for more than a year. So... anyplace else? I'm sure there are
bucketloads (no pun intended) of these chips sitting in broker
warehouses. I'd just like to know where.

Dang! After I saw your email and looked at Digikey, I got stoked on
building a BBD circuit. Oh well. I am interested though. Let me know
if you find some! I did see some links off synth DIY... maybe check
there? Ebay maybe??

Just noticed this old post & thought I'd say that we have both TCA350
& SAD1024 BBD IC's available. Email me off list or at my work,
musicelectronics03@...
Have a fine day,
