Moog CDX Cordovox Organ thing

Moog CDX Cordovox Organ thing

2004-08-30 by Craig Storm

I have one of those 'white elephant' nicknamed Moog/Cordovox organ
things. One note ('G' I think) in every octave likes to go out of
tune, way out. I tried to pop this mother open and retune it. Fine.
It lasted about 10 minutes, then was just as bad as before. How do I
fix this?

Hello Craig: Sounds like you need to replace the capacitor in the oscillator that is going out of tune.this is what usually causes drift in these type of circuits but there could be other bad components, the capacitor is the place to start and the most common problem.try to use a capacitor with the closest characteristics and value to the original.if you have any other questions I will try to help you out.
