Is there anybody here who can tell me if the circuit from link below 
for Roland EV-5 expression pedal is correct? Not sure with 
tip/ring/sleeve connections.

Yes it Looks similar to the one I made . I only used 1 pot but wasn't able to generate the whole 1-127 controller values but that was more down to the mechanical design of the old swell pedal i used.
