Juno 6 Saw wave osc

Hi Recently acquired an old Juno 6 and I think something is amiss with the saw wave generator. When the pulse and sub osc are off, it sounds very soft and scratchy, and I note that the pulse wave modulation affects it..which I would guess it ought not (?). I would appreciate any suggestions as to possible cause and ways to fix the problem. thanks Slowalan
