Korg Polysix and Poly-61

Hi guys, Both synths have been through the battery leakage and subsequently extensive cleaning, resoldering etc. Both work fine apart from the memory. To put it in plain words - the memory seems to remember only certain parameters. In Poly-61 it recalls filter cutoff, resonance, modulator settings, but not the envelope. I've created a patch with long release but after recalling it the release is gone and the envelope is in GATE mode. In Polysix similar problem but more extensive and complicated. Can you pin down, trace the problem to a specific area on the board, some component? I have no idea where to look, we've looked at it so many times... thanks
