Help With Yamaha SY22

2006-12-18 by Daniel Cowans

Does anyone know where I can get a good keyboard with working keys for a
Yamaha SY22? It's been repaired so many times over the years and now I just
want a new assembly. Any help appreciated. Anything in Toronto would be
greatly appreciated.

Hiya,

best suggestion is find another one on ebay and use your existing one for parts.
I've done this with my SY22-I paid $120 for the last one I bought.

Hi:
My choice would be to buy a complete SY22 or SY35 and keep the old one for parts.
These nice keyboards sell cheap at www.ebay.com.
I use a TG33 in my studio.
Best regards.

Know what you mean, for what its worth. The sy series keybeds keys
seem to only stand up for so long.
on Tuesday the F4 key got lazy and then Wednesday the B3 key gives up
its ghost and so on.
Trying Yamaha is probably a joke, instead try NTS Pro Audio for a
keybed assembly, you might
find luck there.
