Dead Keys on Roland/rhodes
2001-12-25 by Peter Blackett
Dear regan_2002 a lot of the Roland [ and other manufacturers ]keyboards use rubber contact strips under the actual keys . after some use these can wear and cause problems such as notes not playing [or playing too loud ]. you should be able to get replacement contact strips from Roland , and it might well be worth getting a copy of the service notes as these should help you disassemble the unit . the contacts might just need cleaning , but I've found it better to change the contact strips . regards for Boxing day and the new year , Peter South London England -- web page http://home.clara.net/dragonser/index.html
