Vintage Synth Repair

I'm trying to sell my Rogue but without a power supply, it's hard to
tell what condition it's in. Surely there must be another way to get a
power supply for a more "reasonable" price. I seem to see a lot of
people with this same question but not too many answers.

Any help is appreciated and ... Happy 2008 from this emboldened lurker!

I take it that it's a separate supply?

What are volts / current ratings on the unit?

If I know that I can probably point you to where a PS can be had

After doing a painless search on the web, I found out that the Rogue
needs a 24VAC wallmount style adapter with a 3.5mm plug on it.
Somewhere in the neighborhood of 500mA ( 1/2 an amp ) output current.

Also, someone suggested that you plug in the adapter to the synthe
BEFORE plugging the adapter inna wall. It saves on repairs.

somewhere out there in 2nd hand synth land, there's a rogue I modified
for the mid 90s indie band tiger, who played their bass parts on the
thing. one of the oscillators was lowered an octave, & the power
supply was replaced with an internal toroidal transformer & an IEC
socket on the back panel. a few months after I did these mods, I took
my own rogue to a gig in holland & forgot the power supply- thought
I'd modified mine aswell, y'see.... :-)
anyway, it's worth considering this rather than carrying on with the
wall-wart.
